Community Consultation and Drop in Session
Following a successful application to Argyll & Bute Leader Fund, we have appointed DTZ as consultants to carry out our feasibility study and business plan. In partnership with WSP they will also carry out an appraisal of the liabilities. If the business plan shows that the airbase will be a viable proposition then the community will asked if they wish to support the buy-out.
To help in the preparation of the business plan, we need input from the community. A well-attended open meeting was held on Tuesday 27th July in the Town Hall Campbeltown. Members of the community dropped in and gave us their views and ideas. There will be a further community consultation event in August along with workshops involving various community interest groups.
